I recently had my car go thru scheduled maintenance at the dealership, now A/C does not blow thru dash board vents but it does thru passenger vents.
 
It sounds like there is no or limited vacuum coming to the controlled to move the air flow doors to the proper setting.
There is a vacuum tank for the AC system that is located near the front bumper. You may have to remove the front end to get to it, but then you could check the vacuum hoses to see if they are loose or leaking.
 
I have a 2013 3.8 and the passenger side vents stop blowing cold air after 20 or 30 minutes. It's in the dealer for the 4th time and they appear to be unable to fix it! Sorry I purchased this car!!

Google "lemon law" for your state. If you qualify, let the dealer/HMA know you going down that route.
