Hello Equus Owners,

I own a Genesis coupe and am currently working towards an MBA degree. I am doing a marketing project on the Equus and was hoping to get some feedback from Equus owners or prospective customers. I love my Gen coupe and know the reasons why I want to buy an Equus one day, but any feedback you can provide would be very helpful. Thanks!

How did you first learn about the Equus?
What car did you own before the Equus?

How did you first learn about the Equus?
I think I first heard of it on the Genesis board.

What car did you own before the Equus?
I had a 2009 Genesis which I traded for the Equus.

What other cars did you test drive?
None.

Was price the determining factor in your purchase decision?
Hmm? Hard to say. Price was part of it but since the Genesis was the most reliabe car I have ever had I had pretty much made up my mind some time ago that Equus would be the next car.

What adjectives do you associate with the Hyundai brand?
For Hyundai, the brand, I would have to say value.
For the Equus in particular; reliable, value, solid, comfortable, quiet and powerful (fast as hell).

What is your favorite feature of the Equus?
The accelerator.

Did you take advantage of the valet test drive service?
No.

Are you happy with Hyundai’s post purchase relationship?
I have not had the car very long so I have not had to take the car for any service yet. The salesman said he would personally come to pick it up for the first oil change and deliver the loaner. So I guess the answer is yes.

I learned about the Equus when I purchased my 2009 Genesis 3.8 sedan.
I traded in my 2012 Genesis R-spec for a 2013 Equus Ultimate.
Didn't drive any others, I knew exactly what I wanted.
It did at first, but life is too short and you can't take it with you.
As far as the the Hyundai brand I would say reliable, good investment, quality and stylish. As for the Equus, I would say luxury, style, comfort and prestige.
Favorite feature(s) has to be style and technology.
I haven't yet, but I will!
There have been some hiccups, but they have been with the dealership itself. I know the sales staff all the way up the the general manager personally and when I do have a concern they address it quickly.
