  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

anybody know anything about the availability of the abel racing cold air intake ?

myself among other people have been trying to contact them for almost 3 months, I never seem to get a reply via e-mail so I called a couple times and for the few times they did answer, they kept telling me they will start producing more soon, I pretty much gave up on them already

Looking to update and upgrade your Genesis luxury sport automobile? Look no further than right here in our own forum store - where orders are shipped immediately!
I spoke to them about 1 month ago & they referred me to their sales person cost is from 350-400 bucks. There are 2 more company's in the middle of developing the same system so within the next 30 days still be 2 more options . I am waiting to see which is the best value for the book then I'll pull the trigger on one of the three systems

I assume this is only for the coveted 5 liter? Guess I'll stick with my homemade remedy.

There are a couple of other companies on here that have made an intake for teh Genesis, both the 4.6 and the 5.0. I won't call them a CAi, but a tube and cone intake. The only difference between the two intakes is the 4.6 has a MAF in line where as the 5.0 replaces the MAF with a section of tube as it's not neded on the DI engine.

If you were to take a close look at the intake box on the car, you will see that it already has a Over The radiator cold Air Intake system on it. Just maybe need to improve on the OEM design to get more air flow.

The down side is, even with more air in and more exhaust out, you still need a tuner to take advantage of the new air flows. That hasn't happened yet.
