  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

can any one tell me what is restart engine 3 to 4 times in this part mean :

Prerequisites to reactivate the battery sensor
Keep the engine in the OFF status for 4 hours, and attempt to restart the engine 3 to 4 times for the battery- sensor reactivation.
Pay extreme caution not to connect any accessories (i.e. navigation and black box) to the vehicle with the engine in the OFF status. If not, the battery sensor may not be reactivat- ed.

is it mean cycle igniton on/off
or start engine and shut off ?

Did you get this as a result of a battery change?? And as I read it/would do it...let car sit 4 hours (nothing on/running)...then restart the car to running/then turn off(while in park) 3 to 4 times so that the battery sensor resets. I have read threads on this forum from guys that have put in new batteries and have not come across anyone that said they needed to reactivate a battery sensor....that is why I asked my earlier question out of curiosity.I have a 2016 ultimate and it may be that this is something specific to your G70...please post your progress. Always like to learn new things...cheers
