Hello everyone-new member!
After driving a truck for 20 years, I am newly retired program director at a psychiatric hospital and ready to buy a great car! (I have to actually as my truck needs too much work in order to pass inspection)! I nearly closed on a 2023 2T Advanced. I want a 2023 as the 2024 models take out the great sound system, move to "leatherette" etc. I wasn't thrilled about the color at the first dealer (Bright red with black interior). I went to another dealer with a black with beige/white interior. Last one within 75 miles apparently. The first dealer kept calling and has now offered me 3K more for my truck! I let the salesman know about it, but he second delaer's service manager would not approve any more for my truck! I am playing hardball a bit as I said I would likely cancel the deal on Monday since they said they couldn't on Saturday they said.
Am I nuts to not take the red one? Also, I was back and forth between beige/vanilla and Havanna brown. Now that I can't find any in Havana brown of course I want that more! LOL! Does the beige/vanilla look nice or is brown infinitely more appealing? Dealbreaker? I realize that it is a personal decision that only I can make, but hearing other people's thoughts when I am this crazy and neurotic right now, usually helps! I would appreciate any thoughts you might have, even if it is a request to the moderator to "get this nut off the site!" LOL!!
