Absolute nightmare with my Genesis

Both of the bolts on my high pressure fuel pump have sheared off. The car threw an engine code that bank 2 was running too rich at idle and smoking. Removed the cover to see the fuel pump shaking. I’m not even sure what to do. I broke an extractor in the hole where one of the bolts broke off. Would I be able to replace the aluminum housing?

The bolts for the fuel pump should not be torqued down too tight(maybe 30 foot/lbs or so max), so an extractor should be able to free the broken bolt threads. You should not need an new housing mount, unless you are planning on cutting/drilling off the old mount to extract the broken threads. I would try drill a hole in the old broken threads and then try using an small extract bit first.

Hopefully the high pressure fuel pump bolt heads does not shear themselves off as a normal occurrence.
