Car has been smoking randomly when taking long drives. Check engine light came on it was the coolent temp sensor. Took it off cleaned it as it is a special order and the check engine light went off. After 2 months it's back Again not sure if it's the same code I'm getting it checked tomorrow

Fix the overheating or temp sensor first.

I agree with this. If your engine keeps overheating, you'll have much bigger problems than just an A/C compressor to worry about.
