  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

My A/C suddenly quit today... Took the car in to my indie mechanic and they said that it had plenty of refrigerant but the high side pressure & low side pressure seemed to be abnormally High/Low. They cued me in to a TSB about it. Anyone experience this?

Hey Skip, all that pops to mind is a thread from earlier today:
All Climate controls nonresponsive...

Have you checked your fuses? Long shot maybe, but coincidence how you both posted today...

Must be sunspots, maybe..?!

Dunno... all the dash stuff functions as it should. I'll check though. It was all the sudden, no cold air.

Bummer. Fuses all good. Fans work as they should, etc. Got an appointment for a diagnostic Sat. :(

Sorry Skip, hope they get you fixed up without anything too serious. 🙏 Keep us posted.

Update.

Got in car this AM to go to the dealer for diagnosis.... and the AC worked perfectly! And has continued to do so through the afternoon.

At least I got a good impression from my local Genesis dealer. He said since it was working, they wouldn't find anything. He didn't want to waste my $ or my Saturday for nothing. Just bring it back if it happens again.

He seemed to think that I may have "cured" it by pulling both of the AC fuses out & reseating them. He said that he's seen fuses occasionally work themselves partially loose on our cars - especially if you drive on crappy roads a lot. Not real common but it's been known to happen.

Fingers Crossed....
