Is that the V6 or V8?I don't know the inaccuracy of the readings but I am very happy with my results. Whether it is 1 mpg less or 5% less, I got a great value. I traveled the PA turnpike from Pittsburgh to Philadelphia, a 300 mile trip over the Allegheny mountains, and got 29.2 mpg at 78-82 mph (yes, I know I was speeding). I am very impressed with the mpg obtained. I will try to calculate exactly the mph on the return trip to compare to the car's computer.

From Pitt to Philly . . . . hmmm . . . . .mostly downhill/flat maybe? With little or nor uphill climbs. That is awfully high. Especially when you factor in your reported speed. That's great mileage, however attained!
Very interested in this car, and am reading as much as I can about it before I make a decision. My experience with trip MPG accuracy has been as follows. I have a 3.5 L Altima that gets about 2-3 mpg less than the trip comp. says in mixed driving conditons. If I hop on the highway, I will get 30 and it will be spot on.
I had an 04 GTO with an LS1 V8. The trip computer on that was spot on under any conditions. For the record, that V8 would get 30MPG with a fully loaded trunk, fully loaded back seat and me and my father up front heading to the OBX. Speeds varied from 55-95.
Kinda makes you wonder what these little motors do so poorly in comparison. Not to mention the GTO weighed in at 3800lbs.
