  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I just purchased 21 g80 3.5 on 1/31. The dealer said give connected services a few days and it should be linked. (It’s been a week) Every time I try to activate the service it says not available in my area. Can someone tell me if the dealership needs to do something on their end or what exactly is the process to linking the service with my car for the first time. I have read horror stories within the forum about the head pin although that was on earlier models. if this is a subscription service I would have thought it would be similar to Onstar. Any advice is appreciated

Would help if you gave your area since Genesis cars are available world wide.

Every Hyundai/Genesis car I've bought was activated by the dealer and worked when I left. But that is eastern US, not Australia or Russia.

The Dealer needs to do this for you. It should have been completed before you you left the dealership.
