  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

If you've seen any of my posts, you can tell I'm CRAZY about Hyundai. One of the things that I haven't said is that I was rear ended on a freeway onramp in my 1989 Sonata at an estimated speed of 40 mph by a Ford truck to the point where the roof was creased. The car was repaired ($8K worth) and even after that, it drove just fine! This was not only a testament to the durability and safety of the vehicle but also the ability to bring it back after being damaged. Since then I've been committed to Hyundais'.

So, thank you for allowing me to join the forum and I look forward to sharing my enthusiam, experiences and knowledge that I have regarding the brand and the models.

Thank you.

I share your enthusiasm for Hyundai. So far I've an '09 v6, which I gave to my son. A '10 V6 which I traded for an 11 Equus. The Equus was struck by lightning which blew most of the computers....I was given an Equus loaner on day #1, Hyundai agreed to make the repairs (estimated at $15k) with no arguments or questions asked about responsibility when lightning is involved. When it appeared the '11 might never be "right" again, dealer worked out a deal where I swapped into an '12 Equus at same monthly lease payment as th '11.

What more could you ask for from Hyundai or the Dealer?
