Adding a larger movie screen?

Hey guys,
never posted here before but gonna be more active this summer. Tried watching a movie on my 09 4.6 w/tech and i found the screen's size and position... lacking. I wanna put in a ~16" monitor that I can aux to my car's stereo input, and that will have inputs for (a.) the 6 CD changer, (b.) a phone to hdmi adaptor, and (c.) a laptop to hdmi adaptor. As far as a i Know I have three concerns:
-Power usage (preferably a low 10-24 watt) monitor
-placement of screen (dash? ceiling- wait.. sunroof?)
connecting it to the CD changer/car power supply.
I've never done anything like this with a car before. If any of you have any experience or ideas, please comment. Also I'd like to get rid of that stupid thing that stops you from playing video while the car is moving, just so my fam/friends can watch in the backseat while I'm driving. I'm wanting to add another battery in parallel to reduce the risk of overdischarging the battery. What do you guys think? :::

I think things must be pretty dull inside your car if you need a movie to entertain passengers. Parcheesi would be cheaper.

One thing I'm pondering as I look for the best possible option, is whether it would be possible to split the hdmi input from the 6CD changer to a second larger screen, and then just fabricate some kind of flip up (laptop like) screen onto the dash, basically mirroring the movie onto a large screen. But I wouldn't want to waste battery powering both screens at once.

Another cool option would be to download a bunch of movies/favorite shows to a 2tb hard drive and keep it in the car. I'd need some kind of computer w/operating system to play movies on my screen from that though... I'm guessing?

Wondering if there are any laptops that use under 40watts of power while playing movies, with a 14-19" screen, matte surface. It might just be easier to paint it or coat/wrap it with leather so it matches the dash, and just build a laptop into the dash... lol.

I'm reading alot about people who've put tablets into their dash, modded the dash, etc. There are some tablets larger than 12" (a pretty nice screen size in a car) that have adaptors allowing charging and external HDDs; There are also tablets this size that ACTUALLY have usb ports and the standard micro USB for charging; I feel like this is the best option for a car. Wifi is just not good in cars, and its expensive. The best solution is probably to store a large number of movies and shows that you like on a large 256gb flashdrive or 1tb hdd. Its sounds like a lot of fabrication but its probably a good option for this. tablets generally have lower power consumption than computers as well. There are some dash mounts that allow the tablet to be removed easily as well.
