Adding a navigation screen in place of the small standard one

I have a 2012 sedan 3.8 base model with the small standard display. Would like to add the navigation screen, after checking schematics and numerous pictures it appears it would fit perfectly including the plug in connections. I'm not looking for navigation just usage of the large display keeping the standard components. The display is available on ebay at a very reasonable price. I'm very handy and it appears changing out displays would be quite simple. Has anyone tried this, or may offer any suggestions. Thank you, Charlie

I think if you post the same question for a 5th time you will get a response. 4x is simply insufficient.
