  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

It seems by adding a subwoofer to the G70 sport Prestige it will disable Active sound cancellation, and active sound design (fake engine noise). I went to the best and most reputable installation facility around, and they could not find a way around it, even with a LC1i.

For many this is a non-issue, and I think these features are not included on all trims however we really enjoy it. Seems such a shame that these Lexicon systems seem to have nothing from 80Hz down. I guess that is common in manufacturers to help avoid customers from complaining about rattles, and uneven sound as objects are placed in the trunk. Seems such a waste of a great resonance chamber.

I think you are absolutely right in the thought process. It does make complete sense.

I added 2 8's to compliment the Lexicon. However, i do find the Midbass to still be lacking, compared to my subs.

I am now able to comfortably hit as low as 20hz and definitely feel it. But as an avid basshead, there is always room for more improvement, so 4 8's is on my todo list.

Where did you get your level inputs from? Did you run a LC2i pro?
