Adding Additional Phone Numbers

If I want to add new phone numbers to my current directory, what to do? It seems that I would have to delete my phone, re-pair the phone and download my phone list.
Anybody have any ideas on how to add new phone numbers to the current phone list?

You didn't say whether or not you have the Tech package. I have the Premium (non-Tech) and my phone book downloads from the phone to the car every time it connects. So I would think that any updates I make to the phone would be picked up.

Whenever I add a phone # or change my phone directory, that gets reflected in the phone directory in the car. I've never tried add a phone number using the console.
