  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

My 2024 G80 Lease has two months left and I am not sure what to do. I have a good deal at $350 a month with 1000 miles a month. Genesis has told me that I can extend for another 6 months or buy for $44000. I love the car. However there are a few downsides. First, I've read Genesis is discontinuing the model. Second, it is very expensive to insure and it still gives me range anxiety. From a financial standpoint it makes sense to extend the lease for another 6 months and push a more permanent decision down the road. Will Genesis negotiate the lease end buy out value? Anyone have any thoughts?

I'm on my first leased vehicle. I think you have 3 options with the vehicle. Buy it outright. Trade it in into another vehicle dealership, if buying other than Genesis, or refinance the vehicle and make the monthly payments on it to eventually own it. I "believe" these are the options you have.
I am going to do the latter with mine.

Maybe someone with prior lease experience will shed some light.
