  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Looking at an Ultimate model with 89,000 for $20,000. 1 owner and clean Carfax. Going to test drive probably tomorrow. Will trade my 2010 V6 Genesis.

Any words of wisdom?

Check the rear center console lid. We've had a few traded in lately with broken ones. Depending on which part is broken, it can get expensive. .Our used car manager makes sure to check them now. It's bit him in the butt a couple times

Push every button to make sure it works for its intended purpose. Do not let your eagerness cloud your judgement. If there is an issue, it'll be expensive to fix. Ask for service history records and anything they have on the car. Good luck

great vehicle reliable, but i recommend purchasing extended warranty as repairs can get expensive.

Thanks for the input! I spent an hour sitting in the car and pushed every button, turned dials, tested all safety features, drove 20 miles at various speeds, checked repair history, and then did it all again after the test drive. Everything checked out good. Bought extended warranty to protect myself. Out the door for less than a third of the original price. Man it's a lot of car for the buck! Still a little light-headed from the working of the deal, but I'm pretty happy although I did LOVE my 2010 Genesis which was loaded for the time. If I had to do any of it over again I think I would sell the Genesis and use the proceeds as a down payment. Trade-in value was really low considering I only put 18,000 in the 3 years I owned it.

As long as your happy, that’s what matters. Enjoy the car 😎
