  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

If AFLS and/or self leveling headlight feature is not working properly, will a fault code be stored so that dealer can later retrieve?

The AFLS self checks every time the car is started. If any faults are detected, the AFLS caution light should come on in the dash board. You having any symptoms?

It seems to me that I remember when in the garage and lights come on automatically, I would see for a brief second the lights on back wall dance around for fraction of a second. No such movement now.

Headlight switch in the "auto" position?

OK folks, dumb move on my part. Because I have service appt. coming up, I thought I would check some of the systems. Headlight switch was indeed in auto but.....car has to be running for the AFLS to work. I was checking in garage without car running! All good and thanks for your response.

Sweet. I'm pretty sure that as long as headlights switch is in Auto, the AFLS self checks the system, even if the lights aren't on.
