Here is some short story of my experience with G80 exhaust. I installed two Borla ProXs mufflers hoping for better sound of my V8 but it was not a good idea. Interior noise was not acceptable, it drones at 1100-1400 RPM, just no fun to drive anymore. I'm back with factory mufflers enjoying driving of luxury car again. Here is 7 minutes movie about my experience, make sure you have headphones.

I have one, greatly built exhaust, sounds awesome, but professional installation is required! Also I would recommend secondary downpipes with it.

Taking into account the weight of it, I'm surprised with the hauling speed . Given that this video was uploaded a bit more than a year ago, how's your experience now, to this day to do kept the factory mufflers or did you go another direction?

What is preventing someone from installing it themselves?

The mid section of the exhaust has a support bracket that would hit the driveshaft, so my mechanic had to cut the bracket and relocated it.
