  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Hey guys, so i bought my 13 r spec a year ago, came with one key. I bought an aftermarket fob which are all over ebay/amazon. Well got it all setup and off I went. A year in now, the key's doing some wierd stuff. When I come up to the car, it recognizes I have the key, I can open with the button on the door handles but none of the buttons on the fob respond to anything. Unlock/Lock/trunk nothing works. Theres an led light that blinks when i click on the buttons which tells me, its seeing my inputs. I can start the car up fine as well like I normally do which tells me the frequency is there, its just the actual buttons have stopped working for some odd reason. I changed out the battery thinking maybe its weak but that didnt solve it. Has this happened to anyone else before? Wouldnt have thought these aftermarket keys are that bad. Has anyone experienced and fixed such an issue?
