  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I reside in South Florida and I own (purchased new) a 2011 black with saddle interior Signature, I am approaching 30,000 miles and have never had an issue with the car. I traded in a 2009 Genesis that I also purchased new and also never had any service or repair issues. For the past several months I have had problems with the AC not cooling. I have had it back to the dealer four times, there are no leaks, they have replaced several sensors and the last time I had it in they said they replaced the entire computer with a new one. It worked for one day after that. I feel these Equus mechanics are poorly trained and don't know what they are doing, they don't know how to troubleshoot to find a problem they seem to do things just hit and miss. They claim no one has had an issue with the AC. Has anyone had any similar issues and if so, any recommendations. Many thanks

Did they check/replace the expansion valve? Only so many things that can go wrong with an AC unit...

Do what I did with my Acura a few years ago when its AC failed. I took my Acura in, picked up my loaner and told them to give me a call when fixed and tested for two days by the service manager. Well I got my car back correctly fixed in 3 weeks and the dealer's loaner had addtional 2200 miles on it because we had several long trips planned.
