Air vent concern

Hi All,

I noticed something annoying with my car today. I just got it back from the body shop after an accident repair and not sure if this behavior is normal.

so when the heater is on in auto, it always START to pump to the leg vents, but i notice that i am feeling a bit of heat coming from the air vent that faces the driver. This is the one on the left hand side of the driver, right below the vent that is pointed to the windows.

Any of you experience that? I hope my description of the problem doesn't confuse anyone and i ma sure there is a name for that vent that faces the driver and the front passengers !!!

If you noticed this after the accident and repair then get the repair shop to fix it and bill the insurance company.

thanks, but i think it maybe normal. its not like air is rushing out of it. do any of you feel a bit of heat from the face vents like i describe it?

Mine does the same thing. I know exactly what your talking about.

Its normal. My 09 does it and my previous car did as well (06 Avalon).
