I am really imporessed with the care Hyundai has thken to achieve low drag on the sedan.
We are currently experiencing the largest hatch of "Blunt" butterflies since 1951. These are very small, brown butterflies and they are everywhere in the 10s of thousands. . They tend to hover over roads in big clouds, often just off the pavement. I just drove 19 miles through the cloud and the condition of the car is amazing. I could see them by the hundreds being carried up over the car in the airflow.
I have dozens impaled on the blunt lower front of the car; no surprise there. I have none on the hood and perhaps 20 on the windshield. None anywhere else on the body.
A surprising thing is the outside mirrors. Each mirror has an area close to the body, the size of a golf ball, that contains hundreds of brown carcasses; the remainder of the mirror front is totally clean.
