  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Hi fellas,

Did someone align the HID headlights of his Genny by himself?
I want to know how can I move the beams up/down and left/right. Is there a button or something?

See this thread, Page 5 is where it starts to get somewhere. :roll eyes: http://genesisowners.com/hyundai-ge...?t=17113&highlight=headlight+alignment&page=5 Pretty easy. Best way I found was at night I parked about 20' from my garage door and turned on the lights. Screwed the adjustment in the U (up) direction until they went up about an inch on the door in comparison to the other and then brought the other one up the same amount. Worked well for me.

Here's a link with the specifications and instructions to ensure proper aim.

I haven't checked mine yet, but several other people have complained that theirs are too low. I wonder if these are being shipped from the factory aimed to the European spec, which is lower than the US spec.
