  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I am looking for a copy of Hyundai Technical Service Bulletin
11-SS-001-1. Supposed to deal more in debt with front end alignment issues. If you have a copy or can get a copy will you please post or e-mail to me.

Thank you

You should be able to find it on hmaservice.com. They are all listed there. If you haven't registered, you should. Just go to the Service Information tab and then type the TSB number in the search box. Hope this helps.

Looking to update and upgrade your Genesis luxury sport automobile? Look no further than right here in our own forum store - where orders are shipped immediately!
I found and read TSB 11-SS-001-1. Just an update of Hyundai's B.S. blaming front end alignment problems on tires instead of addressing the real problems. I know that this topic has been covered until members are probably sick of it, but my car is still not fixed. It appears to me that some Genesis sedans come from the factory right on with front end alignment where it should be, and others are so far off it is impossible to do an alignment on the front. Who makes a so-called "premium" sedan without the ability to totally align the front end? Their TSB's are not addressing the problem. Wake up Hyundai!

Only the last couple page and the flow diagram relate back to attributing steering pull to the tires (which more often than not, is the root cause).

Page 2 and on is specific about alignment spec's and goes into thorough detail of toe, caster, camber (which is sort of a joke because of the lack thereof in the rear for adjustment).

Aside from the flow diagrams for technician diagnosis, leading them to call the technical team at Hyundai once all is exhaust and the problem still exists..I'm not sure what you are looking for.

I watched you YT channel and some of your videos...an issue definitely exists. But if it's not alignment and tires/brakes/suspension.. the only thing then is frame damage (from maybe too tight of a tie down during transit overseas?) I don't know.

If I was in your shoes, I'd flat out insist on having the dealer switch out a set of rims/tires from a car you know tracks fine, be it a 3.8 or 5.0 ..whatever... that way, you could either rule out the tires/rims from the equation for good. I'm in wonder why the dealer hasn't tried that already.

Good luck man, those issues suck to deal with. I had similar stuff happening with 2007 TL-S 6-spd and it came back to being a slightly bent rim that was hard to spot visually.

Okay, thank you for your comments. The car is going back to the dealer on Monday to see what more they can do. What I want is for them to stop messing around with the tires and diagnose what is really wrong with the front end and repair or replace the necessary parts to get the vehicle so that the tech can do a proper alignment and at least get it into the factor range of setttings. The way it is now, the tech said that there is no way to adjust it to even get it close.

For anyone who has run into this problem and is interested. After going through all the tests required by Hyundai, their Tech Support verified that in fact the front end could not be aligned as the car was. They received permission from the Hyundai Techs to modify the front end by opening up the "adjustment ports", whatever those are. This evidently allowed them to further adjust the front camber which was the one that was way off. They realigned the front and back and all settings came in right on or amost right on the alignment specs from Hyundai. I still think that there is a slight pull to the right, not bad, but the car definitly handles and tracks a lot better.
Unfortunatly Hyundai said that this is "not" covered by warranty and I had to pay the dealer for their work. I will have to take that up with Hyundai customer service. End of story.
