Alignment?

Any recommendations on where to have this done? Dealer seems like the most obvious choice, but there are a few others. Namely, Firestone. They offer a lifetime alignment. What are your thoughts? Where do you go and why?

As much as this car needs alignment, the Firestone lifetime alignment deal would be my recommendation.

I personally would not use Firestone. The best alignment I had done was at an independent suspension shop where they did multiple test drives after each tweak, and did not rely on factory specs alone. Of course, this only works if you just bought new tires.

I found the suspension shop by asking at Costco Tire Department when I bought my tires and asked them about an alignment. Costco does not do alignments, and referred me to the shop that did a great job.

I use the Firestone Lifetime alignment on all of my cars. It works well for me.

I've been using "Just Tires" since ~2005 My indy who worked on my bimmers for 12 years said, even BMW dealers in Chicago were recommending them.
