  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Took Gen in for oil change I have 25,000 miles and they said I need an alinement. The front two tires are worn and feathering on the inside of both tires. Is it really alinement problem or the crappy Dunlop tires?

Re: Alinement?

I would say that it's probably an alignment issue. As for the front tires, true enough that the Dunlops aren't very good tires so you might consider new tires. The reason that I would advise getting new tires is because if you get your alignment with the same old tires, it will take too long for the tread to even out. If you plan to purchase new tires, do not get the alignment until you have the new tires installed.

Re: Bridgestone Serenity

Is anyone riding on the Bridgestone Serenities? Is there any unusual tire noise? I bought a set and had the road force balance and alignment done, but at about 60mph I can hear a slight wobble sound and it is more pronounced when braking to below 20mph. This is a noise and not a vibration.
Shouldn't these tires be super quiet?

Alignment issues can arise at any time and are generally unrelated to make/brand of tire. Frequent visual inspection will identiofy the potential problem in advance and eliminate the need to replace tires sooner than expected.

I have alignment checked/re-done atleast once per year. TO me its just routine maintenance.
