  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Hello,
Does anyone have all-weather mats they are willing/wanting to part with? Maybe you sold/traded in your genesis sedan and these are sitting around looking for a buyer?

Please send me an email to tke148@yahoo.com or reply to this thread. Let me know what you have and what you are asking for them.

I'm in NJ and would prefer a local pick-up but willing to discuss shipping if the pricing is right.

I do travel some throughout the Northeast area so other areas are possible too.

Thank you in advance.

Tom

as a follow up to this posting, I bought a set of Novline floor liners for the genesis sedan. For about $70 these are similar to the weathertech for less than half the price. They fit really nicely and I'm happy with the purchase. I initially saw them on ebay, then narrowed it back to the source website: mats4less.com. They are in Michigan and the shipping was very quick. I placed the order by phone and the customer service was great.
The only 'negative' comment I would say is having to put a hole in the mat for the floor tab to hold the mat in place. On my 2009, only one puncture was required.
A nice feature is the back mat goes up and over the center hump, protecting that part also.
I don't have pictures yet but I can try to post them soon for anyone whom may be interested.

Of course the thread can be moved. I figured I would just send a smiple reply to my original post to inform others of the find.

I'll try to get some pictures up this weekend.

NJTom,

I looked at the mats4less.com website and it says that those mats are for the coupe. Do they fit good in your sedan?

These are original Genesis sedan mats:

I got a set of Weathertech Digital-Fit all-season mats for my 09. Best floor mats I've ever owned. They fit perfectly, including the hole for the mat holders in the front...the rear mats have a knub that fits over the peg in the floor. IMHO for $179 shipped, I'd rather pay a bit more for something American made (yes I realize the irony owning a Korean made car) than send my money to a Russian company for some cheaper floor mats (Novline is based in Russia).

Couldn't agree more; I bought the same plus the trunk liner. :)

Hmm. One advantage I see with the mats from Novline is that the rear mats cover the driveshaft hump. I'd like to see pictures for comparison whenever the OP has a chance.

Mats4less does carry the sedan mats even though their site doesn't show the exact ones. They are different than the coupe. The difference in model number is a "31" vs "35". Since I'm on my my smartphone it is difficult to add a link but if you search ebay with keywords novline and genesis they should come up.
I had to call them and i asked specifically and had the model number available.
I'm aware they are from Russia but for $100 less than weathertech I'm sold. They fit nicely and the hump cover is an added bonus.

No ankle biters here but two little ones that I'm sure would love to spill their milk.
As for the trunk, a protective mat was provided by the dealer. :)

I bought the "official" Genesis all weather mats from Hyundai. They look good and work well... I paid $60.00 for the set.

I assume you have the Weathertech in your 2012 R-Spec?

Anyone know why that wouldn't fit a 2013 R-Spec? Weathertech doesn't show anything for a 2013 Genesis sedan.

Yes I do, and no I can't imagine any reason they wouldn't fit a 2013.

They're really good at containing all the slop we're dealing with right now and much much better than OEM Volvo or BMW winter mats that can't seem to prevent spillage around the edges. I have no experience with Hyundai all-weather mats, however.

The Weathertech mats for my Sonata and Optima cover the rear driveshaft hump, even though they are front wheel drive. Does the Weathertech for the Genesis have a different design?

I don't really see the advantage of covering the transmission hump, unless you have ankle biters crawling around in the back. ;)

Sometimes I do...and their feet always seems to be dirtier than everyone else's. Even if there is a drop in quality from the Weathertech mats, it might be worth it just for the added protection. It would be nice to see some pictures for comparison, though.

Pictures of the Novline mats as promised:
We recently received about a foot of snow and the township dumped lots of salt so the front mat is a little dirty.

I'm very happy with them so far. The rear mat already withstood a milk spill from my daughter. :)

Thanks NJTom.

I was waiting for your pictures. Looks like a very nice fit and it is good that it also covers foot rest.
I just ordered them from Amazon. Price on Amazon is 64.99 + 13.99 shipping + 3.99 sales tax for me = total came out 82.88.
All four OEM Genesis all weather mats at my local dealership are about $130.

Here is the link to Amazon page if somebody else is interested.
