  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Anyone found a good All weather tire?

Anyone found a good All weather tire?
Nokian WRG3. Has a snow rating but a good year round tire. Had them on two different cars.

I replaced my 4 Michelin tire 3 weeks ago for this no brand name Otani KC2000 P245/45R18 and I'm very satisfied with them so far, I decided to try these tires based on multiple online reviews from multiple website, plus the price was almost 50% less than the brand name. The ride is much smoother and the tire noise is a lot less than the Michelins. I just completed a 900 plus mile drive, and what a difference with these tires, I was listening to the sweet sound of the V6 growling instead of the road noise. Even my wife says how much smoother & quieter the car drives. They are above Hyundai recommended tire specs. I cant say how long they will last, but only time will tell.

I got the Continental DWS06 a few months ago.
Been very satisfied so far.

Thanks to all for your recommendations.
Please keep in mind I am looking for All Weather tires not All Season. I live in Calgary & we are quite north & @ 3557' altitude & 70 miles from the Rocky Mountains. We have LONG winters & have had snow in all 12 months but not that often fortunately . We get snow usually from October to April. Want a tire thats not noisy has reasonable tread life & hooks up on snow & ice both going & stopping especially on ice. Also of course will be driving on dry pavement too. I only drive normally 6-8000 miles a year as I am retired & have 4 other collector cars.
My 2016 3.8 Luxury AWD has 44000 Kilometers (28000 miles) including 8800 Kilometer trip to Toronto & Detroit in Summer of 2019. Might do that trip again as this is the forte of the Genesis! Got to Detroit in 3 days with no sore neck or back @ 74.
Sure beats Flying!

Didnt realize there are differences in all weather and all season tires, thanks for the topic, googled the differences. My recommendation would not work for you.

I can recommend Pirelli P7 Cinturato All Season Plus. Had them on two cars, including my Genesis. Went to Wisconsin last year with family and the guy with brand new Land Rover, was not able to get out of very steep driveway. I tried and had no problem. Best, most quiet and comfortable tires that I ever experienced. If you want something little bit cheaper and probably better in snow, go for Vredestein Quatrac Pro.

Have a look at Goodyear Assaurance Weatherready, Bridgatone Turanza Quiettrack and kocyk123 mentioned Vredestein Quatrac Pro. I have looked at all 3 brands of tires at Tire Rack Canada, and they all have a good rating for snow as well as dry roads. Just need to wait for the New Year so I can check prices.
