Alternator replacement

Starting at the end of the year, I have some long trips to take. I want to replace my alternator preemptively.

My 2015 Equus has 127k on it. At what mileage did your alternator fail, and what brand was used as a replacement. I don’t want to cheap out. I also will have my local Indy do it

I've not installed this personally, but I've heard people have good luck with this as an aftermarket upgrade 320A High Output Alternator for Hyundai Equus, 2012 - 2016 5.0L V8 - 11353-320-HD1-2 | PowerBastards.com

I've had to replace my alternator on my 2013 Equus Ultimate, it was a pain in the a$$. It's very time consuming. I replaced mine when I had about 60k miles on it. Ever since then I've had no issues with it, running perfectly.

Based on a lot of feedback, I will have the shop do it
