If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Normally I would search the internet and find this myself, but I just had surgery on my shoulder and it is near impossible right now for me to spend more than a minute or two on the computer. Hoping to get a quick answer to where I can find a replacement bulb for my Genesis. I have a 2015 with the amber running lights (there are no white LED on my model). I should add that I'm 220 miles from the nearest Genesis dealer. Thank you.

2357LL amber bulb is the proper direct replacement bulb. The LL(long life) is important because any other bulb will burn out too quickly.

Replace with LEDs

Go to ebay Xenon White LED Daytime Running Lights Signal Conversion For 15+ Hyundai Genesis | eBay these are LEDs and work perfectly.. They come with load resistors but try them before you install the resistors. Mine worked perfectly without the resistors. ~$32.00 for the pair. There is a youtube on changing these bulbs. It took me about 30 minutes to take it apart and install the new bulbs. You cannot believe the difference.

Any idea how long the LEDs last? I may want to do this mod as well.

I'm looking for an amber 2357LL replacement bulb and it looks like they are made by bosche and sylvania. Any preference?

Did you have any hyperflash w/o the load resistors?

One of my Sirius brand LED just crapped out. It lasted 15 months and around 25k miles of driving. I'm going to try the Sylvania long life bulbs now.

I recommend 2357NALL instead of 2357ALL. The NA stands for natural amber, which means that the bulb uses amber tinted glass instead of coating/paint that tends to flake off over time. You can get Philips 2357NALL from several sources online.

I have used Philips 2357NALL bulbs for about 3 years and bulbs was still an amber color even though the filament failed in my driver side bulb. I am now using Sylvania 2357ALL bulbs; so time will tell which is the better type of bulb.

I used 2357LL only because I didn't want amber. lol I am currently looking for LED replacements.

Here is a picture of the two bulb types during my last bulb change. The Phillips 2357NALL on the top after three years of use. The new Sylvania 2357ALL on the bottom. Only the driver's side 2357NALL bulb lower filament failed, the passenger's side 2357NALL bulb in the picture was still good after three years of use.

The 2357NALL is a darker amber color, but the lighter amber colored 2357ALL is brighter during use. Time will tell if the 2357ALL coating will flake off like you described.
