  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Hi
I got my gv70 sport 2.5 last week brand new but seems like there is an annoying clicking sound coming from the back which i cant locate, i have removed everything from back side including folding the chair and tightening the spare tire ... etc and now pissed and depressed since im living my previous maxima sounds all over again😐
I belive its an interior noise, did anyone face that Issue?
Service center appointment is after 2 weeks

After 3-1/2 years, I'm happy to say ours has been rattle-free the entire time (knock on wood), because rattles drive me crazy.
The low-pressure fuel pump is apparently located under the rear seat, and I seem to remember a few owners saying the dealer found loose tubing for it during a recall. Not sure that would produce a clicking noise.
The storage tray at the back of the rear deck may need to be persuaded to lock shut, and the rear seats can lock when folded down. Nothing else I can suggest.
Good luck hunting.

I have an appointment on 18 November, lets hope it's nothing big

Sometimes the cheap license plate frames dealers install rattles against the car. Most are held on only by screws at the top so the bottom flexes and taps the car. Gently bending it outwards, away from the car, is an option if you want to keep it. That's easier than trying to find something to wedge in the gap such as adhesive trim/insulation molding material sold at home centers.

Hyundai/Genesis often puts small accessory items, such as the cargo net, in the under-floor storage bins in the rear of the vehicle. Those can rattle around. The roll-up cargo cover on earlier cars (e.g. my 2021 GV80, don't know what they're using now) looks like a chassis reinforcement bar when sitting in its factory delivery position; I've seen folks not realize this IS the roll-up cargo cover and never install it! And a loose spare tire hold-down clamp causes dull thudding sounds typically as the spare moves when the vehicle drives over larger bumps.
