  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I don't know if it's Madison Ross Media Group's policy to have those incredibly annoying Kontera ads that screw up people's postings by putting links that have absolutely nothing to do with their posts and make the pages slow to load but as long as they're around I won't be.

I understand the site costs money but there's a limit to what I'm willing to tolerate for someone to make money off my back and that's crossing the line. It makes the forums look like those stupid bogus search engines that prey on typos in URLs.

I was going to post almost the same thing! They suck real bad:mad:

Pointless, pointless, and pointless..............

Gimli,

Do yourself a favor...install Firefox and add "Adblock Plus" to it. You'll never see an ad popup again :D

If you need help let me know...
Ciao,

FWIW, I totally agree and was going to start a thread myself until I saw this one. This site has (up to now) been one I have recommended to others interested in learning more about the Genesis. The annoyance factor has just been elevated geometrically. I never really minded the sponsored links and I actually looked at them but this newest edition of ads reminds me of AOL (not good). I wonder if I type dealer, exhaust, Kraft Foods, viagra, cialis, Kia, American Airlines which ones will get underlined?

There are other forums that have similar Genesis content, but the people on this site seem pretty cool, so I would hate to have to move on, but this is ridiculous.

Gotta pay the bills, guys. I put up an advertising link and nobody wants to advertise. Site traffic is picking up and Google ads just aren't cutting it alone.

It only costs $2.00 per month to show me this site matters to you. Click here for details. If that's too much to ask, than you'll either have to deal with the blue links or be on your way. There's no way that I'm going to financially support this site all by myself. There are plenty of people here who can throw me a couple of bucks on a monthly basis (yeah, $24.00 a YEAR) to help me out. One hand shakes the other, my friends...

$2.00 per month guys..come on. Not alot to pay for all the valuable information that one can get here. I guess you could take your cars to the dealer to ask questions

Looking to update and upgrade your Genesis luxury sport automobile? Look no further than right here in our own forum store - where orders are shipped immediately!

Thank you very much, Crupp. I appreciate your support! There's still a couple of odds and ends that I need to adjust for the Supporting Member user group. You'll be seeing less ads as soon as I get everything situated. The blue links should already be gone. More to come...

Thanks again!!
