  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I came across an article about a 2023 g70 refresh. Face lift #2 . It looks interesting. Idk? I think I like the current design better. These things tend to grow on you though. What will be interesting is if we get the electric supercharger to go with the looks.

Read the article, didn't see that render though. Can you link?

I don't think they'd release with the headlights wrapping the fender and becoming reflectors like that.

Overall, would be happy to see another refresh as am in the market soon.

I know we get use to changes, but I still think the pre 2022 are the cleanest and best looking. I would not mind owning the newer version, but it’s just too busy, especially the rear.

The rumor mills are saying G70 will get a 2nd refresh in 2024. For us in North America, that would be model year 2025, letting the current refresh run the typical 3-year cycle (2022-24). Supposedly EV replacement is coming in 2026. https://www.autoevolution.com/news/...model-year-2024-ev-coming-in-2026-207194.html

Personally, I'll believe it when I see it. Regardless of what happens, it doesn't really affect my ownership plans all the much. I don't typically trade in vehicles frequently, and so it'll be a good number of years before it's time to replace our Stinger and G70. Who knows what cars mfrs are gonna be hawking, or what I might fancy at that point? We'll figure it out when we get there.

I'm pretty interested to see if there is a refresh and what they do with it. Heck, maybe it'll be awesome... and then maybe I'll get one...

I still really really like my 2019 and plan to buy it out at lease end but sometimes I get irrational thinking and suddenly start getting concerned about reliability and the cost of repairs.

I don't like that front at all; the best design is the current one IMO. Very distinctive and unique, while sporty at the same time. The previous models (2021-) are too 'generic'. I still like the rear of my 2023 better than the 2021s, but not by much. The huge trunk lid looks 'unfinished'. But the front is miles better IMO. Many folks (obviously not car guys) have told me I had a nice Bentley. Ha ha. Anyway, I don't think the G70 will have another 'redesign', but we'll see. It's super old already, and on life support, just like the Lexus IS.

It's just a render using the G90 lights, so I expect it would look much better then that... I sure hope so anyways. Personally, I find the 19-21 models are the GOAT being the original design. Biased of course, since I own one... Though I do like the current look as well.

Hopefully Genesis does more then just cosmetics and sends the ICE G70 off with something special.
