Has anyone ever seen a video review of the Connected services? Or could help me out by answering a few questions.
Are there any privacy settings at all on it? Or if I create multiple accounts for the other drivers of the car they'll always be able to see my location and vice versa. My son would be driving the car and I'd like to get him an account connected as well when I purchase but I'm hoping there's a way I can set him up as a "user" versus "owner." Where he can remote start but not geofence or check my location.
Also, I read that Kia's version of Connected Services if you login to the web site it has a permanent list of all the locations you've visited without a way to delete any of them. Is this true as well?
I know there is the "well, you have a cell phone" argument that comes up when asking these questions about privacy. But, there are plethora of privacy settings you can enable on a cell phone and I'm the only one who uses that device so I don't have to worry about other people's access to the information on it. Worst case if I don't feel comfortable I just won't enable the service even though it's free for the first few years.
Thanks and grateful for any information folks can share.
