Any Kumho LX Platinum updates?

Looking to buy the Kumho Ecsta LX Platinum 235/50 18 for my Genesis 4.6L.
Any new updates or experiences with this tire, especially for use in Florida.
The 3 reviews of this tire on tire rack for this car were good.
Already gone through the Dumflops and Yokohama envigors. Low tread life.

Just put them on 3k miles ago...so far so good ! Definitely quieter than the Michelin Pilot Sport AS plus...only got 26k out of them... will post more info as time/mileage passes!

Sometimes though as tires wear they might get more road noise. I was wondering about that and treadwear.
The hyundai dealer near me has a decent price on them plus a $50 rebate at Kumho website. It's also easier to deal with warranty issues buying locally rather than online with return shipping.

i would say better than the stock tire, i have about 4K on it. i got it mostly for the long life that they have. but yea, its a less bumpy ride now but don't expect pillows for your car. all in all i say, get them!
