  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Greetings all,

Prospective Genesis Owner here (looking to get a 2013 Coupe and a 2012 Sedan for the wife and me).

I've been weighing the pros and cons of leasing vs. buying and thought I knew what I was looking at until I realized that New York does some wonky things with tax calculation for leases. Does anyone know of a lease calculator/spreadsheet that takes these tax rules into consideration?

Also, assuming we're working with Plan A pricing, we have the Hyundai Financing Money Factor/Residual Value numbers, acquisition fee, and Title/Registration/Doc Fees, I should be able to calculate a fairly accurate lease payment right? There aren't any other "unpublished" charges that Hyundai (or the dealer) throws in that I wouldn't know about, are there?

Looking forward to being another proud Genesis Owner among you!

Thanks!
