  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Anybody seen these?

I was looking at Car and Driver's review of the 2015 Genesis and stumbled upon this pic in their gallery...has anyone seen these displays on the back of the front seats? I haven't even seen them as an option...maybe only for the Korean version?

That's a pic of an Equus interior. I don't think that option is available for the genesis.

Correct, I have seen those in the early showing of the KDM model.

Go to this link which believe it or not is Hyundai Canada. They have a picture of the KDM version  and then say "not exactly shown" Scroll down half way and you will also see the center arm rest with all the controls for this. Pretty cool as it also features the DIS and the passengers can see nav screens on both units and can also change features via the DIS not to mention dvd capability. This is not available in the US market and is tailored for the Asians who get chauffeured around and never see the front seat in general, this is why there is so much emphasis in the rear. ;) http://www.hyundaicanada.com/Genesis_Sedan_2015/Genesis.aspx

I retract my statement. You are absolutely correct, I don't know why they don't sell that model in the States. The KDM Genesis is definitely DOPE!!! It does have visual cues of the Equus and i'm sure it comes with a hefty price as well.

Hi fellas,

That video is from one of the dealers in Saudi Arabia. Saudi (where I currently reside) has 3 dealers (each serving different regions), and each seem to have their own configurations.

The configs seem to be a mish mash of various packages. For example, the trim I purchased today is called the Premier, which is the base model, but has extras like the auto trunk open and volume/front seat/AC control in the read armrest. At the same time, it doesn't have the control knob adjacent to the driver. Also, 19" wheels come standard on all models including the base one I am getting.

Here are the spec sheet of the 3 variations available: goo.gl/c173sP

I wouldn't be surprised if the US market gets a few of the missing features each year. They need to keep buyers coming back every couple years to upgrade to the latest model.
