Seems to me. When it comes to the Genesis Coupe, car magazines tend to have
Very different opinions of the car. Me disagreeing with half of them after 2, 45 minute
Test drives. It seems as though they want to praise it in performance while
Yet knocking it in areas I didn't find issues with it on my test drives.
The area they really seem to have an issue is consistancy in performance
Numbers like in the 3.8.
It seems like the auto is consistantly a 14.0 second car on the quarter
The manual is 14.2 consistantly.
But 0-60 times are soooo different. I have seen from 5.5 to 6.1.
And forget edmunds. Those slouches got 6.4 and after the fix it got 5.9sec.
Like who tests over at edmunds.
The best times were recorded by motor trend and c net. 5.5.
Car and driver, popular mechanics, and road & track recorded 5.7.
While automobile and eddumbs got 5.9.
So I would like to know what buyers are getting on there 3.8's?
I wouldn't doubt if some of you were clocking 5.2 to 5.4. And getting high 13's.
The car has excellent power to weight ratio and handling is near exotic sports.
With all these car magazines taking all these corporate handouts from big
Names like BMW and infiniti. Only genny owners can be the trusted source.
