  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

V8 Tech pack here.

Love the car; hate the GPS navigation. We also have a newer Garmin, which is FAR superior.

Current issues:
-Having to know whether the desired road is Ave, Rd, Ln, Cir, etc
-Having to know whether the desired road is North, South, East, West
-Listing of "attractions" alphabetically rather than by distance
-Entering the road 1st and scrolling to find the city. Garmin enters addresses by State -> City -> Number -> road

Anyone know any work arounds??

Many thanks.

I have problems entering an address with a numbered street. For example, 1208 51 Avenue, Anytown, AnyState
The GPS wouldn't let me enter any street names with numbers. I had to enter 51 Street as Fifty First Street, when I do this, the GPS cannot find Anytown.

Anyway to get around this?
