  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

We just had a few mudguards painted for genesis sedans they are $189.95 with free shipping to forum members if anyone interested.e-mail me at bedwards@fortmillhyundai.com or p.m me and let me know. i have as follows

2 sets black noir paint code AF
1 set pearl white p/code AT
1 set sapphire blue p/code TB
1 set gray p/code NY

@ $190 I would hope it was free shipping. I bought a set of OEM mudguards for less than $60 shipped. That must be one hell of a paint job.

Now go get a price on painting.

That's a ahhh, pretty high price. Being my car is black I'm sure the factory splash guards would look just fine unpainted for the $40 listed on a aftermarket Hyundai site.

I have built many cars and bikes. I know how much stuff cost. I had the entire inner fairing painted on my Harley. It is a big piece where all the gauges go. The body shop painted it, cleared it, wet sanded it, and hand compounded and waxed it for $100. You are way out of line on your price.

all i'm asking is to take your mudguards to a quality shop and get a estimate on having them painted

Thanks for posting the offer and price will always be debated. I am interested in the pearl white but trying to find a pic with a set installed not on a dark color car. I will do some more research at home where I can actually see a posted photo since my work account blocks them. Thanks again for the offer, Steve

I bought a set of the black, and I actually think these add to the lines of the car. I think the price is fine, and all I had to do was install them. By the way - you need a right angle screw driver to put these on....even my stubby phillips would not fit in the opening. Luckily I had one, but I think most people will not.

I was off only about 1/4" of being able to jam it against the tire and fit it in there - and this problem was rear only, not front. I also have a 4.6 which may have some differences. My front's went on just fine with a stubby phillips - just couldn't get the rear w/o the right angle phillips. I had a good laugh at myself when the instructions called for the right angle phillips and I said to myself I didn't need it - surely a short phillips would fit in there just fine, and besides...how many people are actually going to own this tool? The laugh was on me when I HAD to get out the right angle just like the instructions said. Imagine that!
