  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I have had my car a few weeks and noticed the condensation in the headlights. I have read a couple of times on this board about that happening. Is there a fix by the Hyundai dealer yet. Any info on a known solution is appreciated.

If there is condensation in the headlight, that means it is not sealed. The fix is a New Headlight assembly....I would take nothing short of this...

I agree.

GM used to replace the assembly IF there was still moisture after the lights had been on 20 minutes. Don't know Hyundai's policy, but you're still warranted right?

I took my 2008 Sante Fe in for RT headlamp assembly condensation- they replaced the entire unit under warranty.

I appreciate the replies. However, I wanted to know if anyone had successfully had the Coupe lights replaced at the dealer so far.

Well not the Coupe but my Genesis sedan headlight was finally changed after much debate. Noticed condensation in it the day after I picked it up. They attempted a couple of repairs which failed miserably and finally gave me a entire new light assembly. So yes they replaced it under warranty.

Slightly off topic, but does anyone have other debris inside the tail lights?
Passenger's side tail light on mine has 2 mosquitoes inside the housing, and I have no idea how they got in there.
Do you think they'll replace this too?

Dan
