  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I have a 2014 R-Spec Sedan and really dislike the infotainment system. It's practically useless for navigation and I don't use the XM radio at all. All my current use right now is via Bluetooth on my Android phone.

I see listings on eBay for Miracast which says it's compatible with my car. Basically mirrors whatever is on my phone's screen, which would work well for Android Auto, Google Navigation, etc.

Anybody have experience with Miracast? https://www.ebay.com/itm/232397949260?ul_noapp=true

This is very interesting. I maybe interested in upgrading my 2012 Nav system to this after i read some feedback for this. I'm gonna search YouTube for reviews on this unit. Thanks for sharing.

Looks interesting. How hard would this be to install?

I really like the OEM navigation and controls on the 2013...? Maybe just me but it is quick and easy to use. Especially like the zoom and dial to move around when driving. Mine was last updated in 2015.
You want a really annoying interface, look at a 2007-2011 Tahoe with the stock navigation...Sure it works but if you ever want to move the view on the screen you have to push to recenter everytime.

Sorry no help on your real question!

I'm wondering the same thing.

I wouldn't mind replacing the entire Infotainment system with a 3rd party unit, if it will still retain stock controls and allow me to use Android Auto.
