  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I truly love Apple Carplay in my 2017 Tucson Limited. My "other car" is my 2009 Genesis 3.8 Premium w/o navigation that I've owned since new, and has only 33,400 miles on the odometer. With new stories being online about after-market Apple Carplay receivers, some of which are now even wireless connected, I'm wondering if anyone has had a unit installed on their first generation Genesis. Concerns would of two kinds: (1) do they really work just like original equipment Apple Carplay radios, and (2) can they be installed in the dash to neatly blend in and not seem like a "Frankenstein" bolt-in? Thanks for any comments.
