  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I purchased and installed a product called NetPlay from NaviPlus (an Australian company that retails on eBay) and installed it in my 2015 Genesis that has the Ultimate Package. The car now has full wireless Apple CarPlay capability (the same unit also provides). The directions are pretty terrible. The main thing you need to know is that it uses the AuxIn to allow the Carplay audio to come through the speakers on the Genesis. It also uses a remote microphone. If you connect your phone to the Genesis via Bluetooth you need to disconnect and forget the device as it is no longer needed. The way it works is after the normal boot cycle you hold down the talk button (the one that you would use if you want to make a call and end call at the same time for 3 seconds. The screen switches over to whatever screen you configured to start (in my case CarPlay). After that CarPlay works as it does on any other car. I hope this helps some.

Here is a link to a video about how to remove the dash.

That look like the kplay unit from Korea, but cost a lot more, The kplay2 is half the price.

I think it is the same thing as that unit. The Kplay vendor wouldn’t return my messages but the eBay vendor was responsive. Ultimately I went with eBay because I could return it if for some reason it didn’t work.
