I believe that you can only pair a maximum of two keys per car, so unless you lost one, there's not a need for another. Plus, your service department needs to reprogram the keys so YMMV whether they'll program to that key.

And holy crap, if that's how much the Genesis prox keys cost, then I'm going to physically glue it to my person -- I was expecting something around $125...

Don't forget the $40-80 the dealer will charge to program a key on top of that!
