  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

gang,

have any of you ever noticed an audible thunk sound when you go through dips or twists? for example, virtually every time i drive into or back out of my driveway, i get this thunk sound as the car body twists. i always enter and exit my driveway at an angle so i don't scrape the front fascia. anyway, i can't tell if the thunk comes from the front suspension, or the uni-body shell. the dip in my driveway isn't that deep so i don't think the front suspension is reaching the end of its travel, but it could be. i have noticed a similar sound on rare occasions when one wheel encounters say a low curb before the other wheel hits it...like entering a parking lot. well, just wondering if anyone else has noticed similar. it's always done this...even when brand new; and i'm not too concerned about it, but am wondering if others have noticed this on their cars. thanks...Troy

I had a similar problem on a different cat..it turned out to loose suspension bolts that needed to be re-torqued.
