  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Over the past couple of weeks, when listening to the audio system there are very short audio dropouts. There are usually 2 or 3 within about 10 seconds of each other, then it's a couple of minutes before it happens again. It happens over and over, and doesn't go away. At first I thought it was an issue with Carplay and my new iPhone. I swapped out the cable, but the issue persisted. I later came to realize that it is also happening when listening to all sources...FM stations, as well as when streaming over bluetooth. I've reset the infotainment system, and also updated firmware/navigation to the latest version, but nothing thus far has helped.

Anyone have any other ideas before I make a service appointment? I am always listening to music, and it's pretty maddening.

Turn off clari fi? Back when we are all getting our cars brand new some had issues with it

Just tried that at lunch. Turned off Clari fi, same result. Turned off speed dependent volume, same result. Changed to each of the sound modes (reference, stage, etc) and have the same result.

Looks like I need to schedule a service.
