Auto down windows from key fob

My last two cars allow you to vent the interior heat by holding the lock button for 5-10 seconds.

This would roll down the windows and open the sunroof.

Does the g80 have this feature. I’m guessing not as I can’t find anything on it in the owners manual.

Also appears there is no way to remote start via the fob only the app.

If these two features aren’t available I guess I will have to look into aftermarket systems.

Any suggestions on easy integration

Correct on both. The AC works well so not venting is not a big problem.

Using the phone app to start the can is not a big deal at home, but awkward when you are in the checkout line and would like to get the car running. I've had aftermarket remotes in other cars, but not in the Genesis so I don't know how easily they install. The ones I had would lock the doors, then start the car. Since I never lock my car, it is an extra remote step for me now.

I’m sure the AC works well but I don’t always remote start. Sometimes I just want to vent the car before getting in.

I can confirm on my 2018 G80 3.3TT AWD Sport that there is NOT a way to remotely roll the windows down (FOB or Genesis mobile application). This is a no-brainer option that should be available (preferable on the FOB). My bosses 201? Accord has this feature. He uses it regularly in my presence to just annoy/rib me.

Just show in your remote start and turn on the air. Can he do that?

Totally agree that you should be able to lower all windows by pressing the FOB like on Honda, and Toyota. I used mine ALOT on my Lexus and miss it on my G80. Hopefully they will add that simple feature in later models.
