  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Auto cannot be selected on Turn Signal Lever. Any ideas/fixes on what I can do? Trying to avoid the dealer if possible.

Auto DRL? They are on all the time except the first position. May differ in Canada. What are you trying to do?
To operate the lights, turn the knob at
the end of the control lever to one of
the following positions:
(1) DRL OFF position
(2) AUTO light position
(3) Parking lamp position
(4) Headlamp position

You have a bad multifunction lever assembly, most likely the circuit board in the center module has failed. If you’re the enterprising sort you can attempt opening and inspecting the connections, otherwise it’s a $422 part.

Well that’s the last thing I wanted to hear. I’d love to tear it apart if I had a clue on what I was doing but I’d rather not break it even more. Dealer here I come!

I agree with Sububazine. Looks like you need a new stalk.

Thanks! :) I need one for myself too lol once a month or two my stalk freaks out at night and I don't like it. It will be another nice DIY project :)

Sweet thanks guys. Now all I need is some thorough instructions or video on how to replace it! Would gladly upload a tutorial for you kocyk123 if you don’t get it done before me!

Ehhhh... it involves removing the steering wheel and clock spring. Download the service manuals from HERE.

Mine just did this yesterday. The display started bouncing between DRL and Auto then no longer would switch to auto. When I got home I played with it for a while, then it started working after pulling back on the lever for flash to pass. I have 70,000 miles so I am out of warranty. Feels like a switch problem to me.
